Scott DeLoach

Deaf Ministry Pastor

Teaching the Word to the Deaf has always been a passion ingrained in Scott's heart since he came to know the Lord during his teen years. He has taught and served the Deaf in various capacities whether it be in the community, at church or in prison ministry. Scott served on the board of Deaf Video Communications for 15 years, is one of the founders of Deaf Prison Ministries Network, served as executive director of Healing Hands Ranch for 4 years, and is now pastor for the Deaf here at The Light, bi-vocationally. Scott holds a bachelor's in Information Systems and a master's in Computer Science while Kathy holds a bachelor's in Deaf Education. Scott and his wife, Kathy, ministered to the Deaf in Chicago for 18 years and recognized God's calling to move back to Texas to serve Him in the Conroe/Willis area. They and their 4 children, Wesley, Austin, Brayden and Baylee, joined The Light in 2008. On the side, Scott also works for SA4i as co-partner/software engineer and still volunteers his time teaching Bible studies to the Deaf prisoners in Huntsville.

Hobbies/interests include: riding his motorcycle, traveling with his family, and helping his wife with big projects.
